Website Photography for Converge Digital

Something I really enjoy doing is heading into a busy office and getting some great team and portrait styled headshots. Converge Digital in Dublin city centre asked me into their offices to take a selection of different company portraits and headshots. Along with some team photographs of the different management and customer teams and a group shot of the entire team. The brief was to to try and use the different backgrounds available within their new offices on Vicar St in Dublin. To show them as a company who are not working independently from home but a company who actually work together as a team at their office in Dublin.

On arrival I quickly picked out two separate areas fro headshots which we took in a landscape orientation. The first background was the exposed brickwork and the second background was a peice of art on display in the lobby area. I set up two lights one each area so that each person could be done consecutively. Meaning as little disruption time wise for everyone. The rest of the team shots were done around the building but mainly on the balcony and emergency exit stairs where there was good natural light. I always enjoy taking portraits, team shots and headshots in natural light. But I am equally happy working with my studio lighting which I always bring with me for location shoots. We also diid some quick landscape portraits of each person at their workstations. Then we did the final group shot of everyone. This was done using a combination natural light and studio lighting for a bit of fill light. Hopefully you can see in the photographs that everyone enjoyed the shoot and that I got fun but professional warm and friendly looking portraits of everyone.
