Corporate Portraits The Firm Dublin
It was such a pleasure to be asked by Micheline from The Firm who specialise in hospitality recruitment in Ireland to photograph a series of headshots and team portraits. The photography brief was to take warm and friendly headshots that showed the team at The Firm to be professional but friendly at the same time. They also required some team shots that showed their personalities. Being a hospitality recruitment firm in Dublin Ireland it was really important that the photographs made Micheline, Linda and Peggy look approachable and trustworthy. All the photographs were taken in my studio in Greystones. The ladies pampered themselves getting professional make up done before the shoot. The photographs used on their website had all been stock images and they felt that it did not show the personal side and caring side of their business. The shoot itself only took 90 minutes and then after they all went for lunch together.
I always tell the marketing and HR departments in companies that getting your headshots or corporate portraits taken should be seen as a day for company bonding. With the benefit of getting some wonderful portraits taken for your website. These are Linkedin portraits and also perfect for your email signatures and company about page. Clients respond so much better to emails or any online interaction when they can see a warm friendly photograph of that person they are interacting with. The team portraits also look amazing if you are giving a podcast, presentation or writing an editorial piece for a magazine or newspaper. But what I love most about corporate portrait photography sessions like this is how much everyone enjoys themselves and turning something that people usually try to avoid getting into something that was actually great fun and that they love the results.
