Croke Park are a great client of mine. I do all their events team headshots as well as the GAA board. They often ask me into to photograph important events or occasions for their staff. They asked me into to do a group shot of all the women who work in Croke Park to celebrate International Women's Day and also to celebrate the retirement of one their longest employees!

Here are some photographs from a recent corporate event held in the offices of Toyota Ireland. They were launching Toyota Financial Services in Ireland and had invited guests from Japan, America and Europe as well as Minister Michael D'arcy to speak at the event.

Better late than never. Finally got around to picking out some of the many headshots I photographed in 2017. All a bit random here ..... just sit back and enjoy the slideshow! I have been lucky enough this year to get a bit of traveling in. On my travels I have been setting up shoots as I go. On my trip to Barcelona I was staying in the Zoo Rooms where I met Irish composer and musician Cian Boylan.

Everyday we should celebrate the little things. Reward yourself for work well done. My reward is a cup of tea and a chocolate biscuit. It is amazing what that can do for my energy levels and motivates me to finish off a job or some editing.... answer that email I don't want to answer!

Final blog post on retouching. I just thought this was a recent good example of some retouching done to a corporate headshot. Here we have the original lightly retouched headshot followed by the high end retouching. Both beautiful photos but one just has a more polished feel to it.

This is something similar to the previous blog. A lot of multi national companies have their board meetings in Ireland or maybe be their annual sales get togethers. This company flew in from all over the world and I had to set up a mini studio in the Morrison Hotel Dublin and do their headshots.

This is just a little blog to show you some headshots taken recently at a solicitors firm in Dun Laoghaire Co Dublin. I was asked to take some headshots on a neutral background for use on their website and Linkedin. While I was there I also took some quick office interior and exterior photos also for their website. When I do headshots I usually offer two types of retouching.

I have been a photographer pretty much all my adult life and regularly attend photography conferences and seminars. They are a great way to learn new things and get ideas for future trends and meet with like minded people. So although this was an Animal Genetics Conference I really appreciate how much these events and conferences are to the people who attend from around the world.

Rugby is a big passion of mine so it was a great honour to get to photograph the publicity shots for Connacht Rugby at their training grounds in Galway. I set up green screen studio in the players lounge where we did the formal portraits. Then it was onto the pitch to get some PR shots announcing the new kit. 

Opes Fidelio in Bray Co Wicklow asked to photograph a series of executive portraits for their new website. I had previously taken their headshots but part of their re-branding they were looking for something a little more in-formal.

This award ceremony in Dublin Castle involved groups of architects from around the country with the winners being announced by Minister Damien English. Dermot Bannon and his team were the winners with their Abhaile Project. Awards photography by Roger Kenny.

At Roger Kenny photography we are always asked to photograph small and large corporate events in Dublin. This event was small in size but huge in terms of importance. The Constitution Room in the Shelbourne Hotel Dublin was full of vip guests and dignitaries including the Chinese Ambassador to Ireland.

I had the pleasure of working recently with the Irish soccer team at their training camp hotel in Castleknock. I had to set up a green screen studio to photograph the Irish soccer team in their new New Balance home and away kit.

Sarah came to the studio to get actor headshots taken back in December but when I discovered she was actually studying ballet in Glasgow I asked her back for a ballet shoot. We started off as always in the studio just chatting and taking some shots.

Mary Mac Rory was looking to update her website and Linkedin profile headshots. She came to the studio in Delgany Co Wicklow just 10 minutes from M50 in Dublin. We organised a professional make up artist and hair stylist for her to guarantee she looked her best for the shoot and so making sure she felt totally relaxed for the shoot.

BMW Group Ireland recently held their Retailer Conference in Carton House Dublin. An amazing day that really shows why BMW is such a premium product. Their products are flawless and so are their events.

As you know I do a lot of different portraits at my studio in Delgany. Recently I have started doing dancer and ballet portraits to add to my catalogue of actors, musicians, comedians and general all round talented people!

At Roger Kenny Photography we do a lot of work for charities who are looking to get their event covered. Some we do free of charge others we have a reduced rate for. Nearly all of them receive a family portrait gift voucher from the Portrait Room in Delgany as a spot or auction prize!

This years CISCO Ireland Partner Forum was held in Carlingford Co Louth. Away from the usual conference rooms and hotels. The theme was Disrupt or be Disrupted and so the day started of in that unconventional form with the welcoming speech been given by a robot followed by Enda McNulty smashing a TV.
